Nominations News and Hustings Announced
Nominations
The deadline for applications for election to the Board of Seadog Trust passed on Friday 12 October. The Election Supervision Group (ESG) received 11 applications for the 10 vacancies on the Board and on Monday 15 October the ESG confirmed all applications were valid.
As a result of the nominations, their will be a contested election and full ballot to determine which 10 of the 11 applicants will constitute the Board for the next 12 months. Hustings
All members are invited to the Election Hustings on Saturday 27 October 2007 at Queensgate, Bridlington. This will take place at approximately 5.30pm after the home match against Yorkshire Amateur. The purpose of this event is to offer members the opportunity to ask questions of the candidates to help members decide who they wish to vote for.
If you are unable to attend or will be attending but do not wish to pose questions directly then questions can be submitted prior to the event and these will be posed to the candidate. Minutes will be taken at the event and these will be published in due course.
